Minister of Trade, Zulkifli Hasan visited the construction of the PT Freeport Indonesia Smelter in Gresik, East Java

Thepresidentpost.id - Minister of Trade, Zulkifli Hasan visited the construction of the PT Freeport Indonesia Smelter in Gresik, East Java, Tuesday (28 Nov).

The Minister of Trade said that the construction of this smelter is an effort to accelerate industrial downstreaming or create added value to mining products.

The Minister of Trade stated that the Ministry of Trade was ready to provide support to PT Freeport Indonesia.

The Minister of Trade added that this was something to be proud of because the construction of PT Freeport Indonesia in Gresik was managed by the nation's children.

On this occasion, the Minister of Trade was accompanied by the Secretary General of the Ministry of Trade, Suhanto; Director General of Domestic Trade, Isy Karim; and Special Staff to the Minister of Trade for International Trade Agreements, Bara Krishna Hasibuan.
