Trade Minister Reviews Bapok Prices in Pasar Baru, Gresik, East Java
Thepresidentpost.id - Minister of Trade, Zulkifli Hasan reviews prices of basic necessities (bapok) at Pasar Baru, Gresik, East Java, Tuesday (28 Nov). This review is the government's anticipation in facing Christmas and New Year 2024.
The Minister of Trade stated that bapok stocks were safe and prices were stable and tended to fall. This is the result of cooperation between the central government and regional governments and traders in the market to maintain the stability of bapok.
Based on monitoring, the recorded price of curly chilies is IDR 60,000/kg, cayenne peppers IDR 70,000/kg, shallots IDR 23,000–25,000/kg, garlic IDR 33,000/kg, broiler chickens IDR 33,000–35,000/kg, and chicken eggs Rp. 26,000/kg.
The Minister of Trade hopes that all parties, including the central government, regional governments, the private sector and market traders, can continue to collaborate and work together in maintaining Bapok stability.
On this occasion, the Minister of Trade was accompanied by the Secretary General of the Ministry of Trade, Suhanto; Director General of Domestic Trade, Isy Karim; Special Staff to the Minister of Trade for International Trade Agreements, Bara Krishna Hasibuan; Gresik Regent, Fandi Akhmad Yani; and Deputy Regent of Gresik, Aminatun Habibah.
