After being tested for the past month or so, we have seen significant changes in the community in Jababeka, one of which is the use of the Beam fleet, especially by students here, and of course, this is in line with our efforts to provide the best facilities for Jababeka residents and support the “Blue Sky” program that has been launched by the Government of Indonesia.”
Jababeka City is a mature independent city development, where around 60% has been developed from a total land area of 5,600 hectares. It is an industry-based self-contained city that houses more than 2,000 local and multinational companies from more than 30 countries. Jababeka City has industrial, residential, and commercial developments, public transportation networks, shopping centers, recreation, and entertainment, as well as a dry port, power plant, two water treatment plants, two wastewater treatment plants, and various other facilities.
“With this Beam Mobility service, it further strengthens our position as a modern independent city in Indonesia through the implementation of environmentally friendly transportation services,” Eric added.

There has been a surge in the number of registered users to date coming from Jababeka and this number continues to increase every day, especially on weekends, where our fleet is widely used when CFDs are applied in Jababeka. To illustrate, on average every 4 minutes a new user signs up during our trial period.”
“In addition, in order to better accommodate users in Jababeka, we also inaugurated the first Beam Mobility warehouse in the Jababeka area, this warehouse will later function for storage of units and spare parts needed.”
“Currently we provide one type of fleet, namely Beam Rover, and there are already 500 units of Beam Rover fleet available, with 50 parking spots spread across the Jababeka area.”
“And we are proud to be able to provide our services through safe, comfortable, and cost-effective eco-friendly vehicles to people living in one of Indonesia’s modern independent cities,” Devraj explained
All Beam Mobility fleets have a maximum speed limit of 25km/h equipped with IoT technology features, so that vehicle conditions can be monitored in real-time, through geofencing activation, and can automatically detect if there is a problem, such as when a battery replacement is needed. Each fleet is also equipped with spare batteries.
