President Jokowi Attends WCAS COP28 in Dubai
Thepresidentpost.id - President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo attended the World Climate Action Summit (WCAS) COP28 that was held at Expo City Dubai, Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE) on Friday (12/1).
Arriving at around 10.55 local time, President Jokowi was welcomed by UAE President Mohammed bin Zayed and Secretary General of the United Nations (UN) António Guterres.
After the three of them took a group photo, President Jokowi entered the Al Wasl Networking Lounge. The President also took part in a group photo session with all delegation leaders and was seen standing next to the President of Brazil Lula da Silva.
Afterward, President Jokowi proceeded to Al Waha Theatre at Dubai Exhibition Center to attend the opening of WCAS COP28.
UAE President Mohammed bin Zayed and UN Secretary General António Guterres delivered opening speeches at the occasion.
