Indonesian Embassy in Tehran Promotes Indonesian Tourism Destinations at Tehran International Tourism Exhibition 2024
Thepresidentpost.id - Tehran, Iran - The Indonesian Embassy in Tehran has participated in the 17th Tehran International Tourism Exhibition (TITE) held at the Tehran International Permanent Fairground (12-15/2). TITE is the largest tourism industry exhibition in Iran attended by domestic and international tourism stakeholders.
The 17th TITE was opened by President Ebrahim Raisi and Iran's Minister of Culture, Tourism, and invited Foreign Missions in Tehran. This year, TITE was attended by tourism stakeholders from various countries such as Armenia, India, Indonesia, Russia, Tajikistan, Thailand, Tunisia, Turkey, Uzbekistan, Vietnam, and Zimbabwe.
In the exhibition, the Indonesian Embassy in Tehran opened the Indonesian pavilion to promote Bali and 10 priority tourism destinations in Indonesia. The Indonesian Embassy in Tehran participated in cooperation with 5 tour agencies and tour operators from Indonesia and Iran.
In 2023, 7,177 Iranian tourists visited Indonesia. Tourism promotion activities by the Indonesian Embassy in Tehran are expected to increase the number of Iranian tourist visits to Indonesia in the future.
