President Jokowi Arrives in Kenya
Thepresidentpost.id - President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo arrived at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport Nairobi, Republic of Kenya, at around 15.15 local time or 19.15 western Indonesian time on Sunday (08/20).
Welcoming the President were Indonesian Ambassador to the Republic of Kenya Mohamad Hery Saripudin with spouse and Indonesian Defense Attaché in Pretora, Col. Mar. Burhanudin with spouse. From Kenyan side, there were Ministry of Foreign Affairs Alfred Mutua and Ministry of Mining, Blue Economy and Maritime Affairs Salim Mvurya as the Escort of Honor.
President Jokowi went to State Pavilion to sign a state guestbook and continued to the hotel where he would be staying during his visit to Kenya.
In Kenya, President Jokowi was scheduled to hold a bilateral meeting with President of Kenya William Ruto to enhance the cooperation between the two countries.
