The Indonesian Embassy in Cairo Receives Aid for Palestine
Thepresidentpost.id - Cairo, Egypt - The Indonesian Embassy in Cairo welcomes the Radjiman Wedyodiningrat Warship (RJW-992) which arrived at the Al Arish Port, North Sinai Province of Egypt at 8.00 A.M. Cairo local time (13/02).
The RJW-992 warship, led by Navy Commander Colonel Bayu Dwi Wicaksono, carried 242.6 tons of humanitarian aid, equivalent to more than USD 1.5 million.
Humanitarian aid from various elements in Indonesia has been handed over by the Commander of the Indonesian Navy's Port Visit Task Force 2024, Rear Admiral of the Indonesian National Armed Forces Sumarji Bimoaji, to Mr. Ahmad Ali Al Buhaeri, the Field Officer of the Egyptian Red Crescent in Al Arish.
Subsequently, the aid items were transported by 30 trucks from Al Arish to Gaza by the Egyptian Red Crescent team, where they were then handed over to the Palestinian Red Crescent in Gaza.
Selanjutnya barang bantuan tersebut diangkut menggunakan 30 truk dari Al Arish menuju Gaza oleh Tim BSMM yang kemudian diserahkan kepada Bulan Sabit Merah Palestina di Gaza.
