Second Day in Malaysia, President Jokowi will meet with the PM and King of Malaysia
Thepresidentpost.id - Indonesian President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) accompanied by Mrs. Iriana Joko Widodo continued the second day of work visit activities in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, on Thursday (08/06/2023).
Starting his activities, the Head of State and Mrs. Iriana will head to Seri Perdana which is the official residence of the Malaysian Prime Minister (PM), Anwar Ibrahim.
There, President Jokowi and PM Anwar Ibrahim will have a one-on-one meeting (tête-à-tête) and witness the exchange of Memorandums of Understanding (MoU) between the two countries. Meanwhile, Ibu Iriana will attend a morning drinking banquet with Dato' Seri Dr Wan Azizah which will be held at Lake Putrajaya Cruise.
Afterwards, President Jokowi and PM Anwar Ibrahim will visit the Chow Kit Market to conduct an inspection and drink coffee together. The series of meetings with PM Anwar Ibrahim ended with a luncheon.
After having lunch together, the President and Mrs. Iriana will return to the hotel where they spent the night in Kuala Lumpur. There, the President is scheduled to have a meeting with the Deputy Prime Minister of Malaysia.
Concluding a series of working visits to Malaysia, President Jokowi and First Lady Iriana will have a meeting with Malaysia's King Yang di-Pertuan Agong Sultan Abdullah and the Empress at the State Palace, Malaysia.
The President and Mrs. Iriana are scheduled to return to Indonesia in the afternoon via Kuala Lumpur International Airport using the Indonesian Presidential Plane-1. (BPMI SETPRES/AIT)
