After Putin, It's Now the Turn of British and Dutch PMs to congratulate Prabowo
Thepresidentpost.id - Jakarta, British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak delivered a congratulatory letter to Prabowo Subianto on his victory in the 2024 presidential election in the results of the KPU's quick count and count.
The congratulatory letter was delivered directly by British Ambassador to Indonesia, ASEAN, and Timor Leste Dominic Jermey when he visited Prabowo Subianto's house on Friday (16/2).
"I am honored to deliver a letter of congratulations from Rishi Sunak on Prabowo's success in the 2024 election," Jermey said, uploaded on his X account, @DomJermey, Saturday (17/2/2024).
"Thank you Mr. Prabowo for the kind welcome yesterday. It was great to discuss all the things that lie ahead and the great things our countries can achieve together," continued Jermey.
Separately, Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte also congratulated presidential candidate number 2 Prabowo Subianto for winning the KPU's provisional quick and real count results.
"I have just congratulated @Prabowo Subianto following the projected election results in Indonesia yesterday," Rutte wrote through his personal X account @MinPres.
Until now, congratulations for Prabowo have also come from various other heads of State, namely Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese, Singaporean Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong, Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim, and Russian President Vladimir Putin.
