President Jokowi Inspects Anyar Market in Buleleng Regency

Thepresidentpost.id - After inaugurating Danu Kerthi Dam in Buleleng regency, Bali province, Thursday (02/02), President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo accompanied by Ibu Iriana inspected Anyar Market in Singaraja, Buleleng regency to hand over social assistance and business capital assistance to market traders.

The Regional Secretary of Buleleng regency Gede Suyas and Head of Anyar Market Gede Widiada joined the crowd to welcome the President and Ibu Iriana. The people enthusiastically greeted President Jokowi and Ibu Iriana.

President Jokowi often took his time to inspect markets during his working visit to the regions. On the 2023 National Coordination Meeting of Regional Heads and Indonesian Regional Leaders Communication Forum (17/01), President Jokowi had reminded all regional heads to inspect market.

“Please, all regents, mayors, and governors are encouraged to often inspect the markets. Check properly in the field, whether the data provided is in accordance with the facts in the field,” the President said.

From Anyar Market in Singaraja, the President and Ibu Iriana were slated to visit Melaya Market and Sentra Tenun (Weaving Center) in Jembrana.
