President Jokowi Hands Over Rice Reserves Food Assistance in Kupang
Thepresidentpost.id - President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo Wednesday (12/06) handed over government rice reserves (CBP) to a number of beneficiary families, at Bulog’s new warehouse in Tenau, Kupang city, East Nusa Tenggara province.
President Jokowi said that the CBP food assistance is disbursed for a period of September-December 2023. The assistance will be disbursed again in January, February, and March, he added.
“You are set to receive it for September, October, November, and December. So, you will receive for four months’ allocation,” he said adding that today the beneficiaries received the assistance for two months’ allocation, while assistance for two remaining months will be disbursed later.
In addition, the Head of State also ensured that cash assistance provided to support the people affected by El Nino is already received by the beneficiaries in Kupang city. The people told the President that they have received the assistance amounting to Rp400,000.
