Second day in Dubai, President Jokowi will attend the opening of WCAS COP28

Thepresidentpost.id - Indonesian President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) continued his second day of working visit to the United Arab Emirates (PEA) on Friday (12/11/2023). Starting his agenda, the President will head to Expo City Dubai, Dubai to attend the opening of the World Climate Action Summit (WCAS) at COP28 held by Al Waha Theatre, Dubai Exhibition Center (DEC).

President Jokowi will also deliver a national statement at the WCAS COP28 meeting. Next, President Jokowi is planned to take part in the Leaders' Event: Transforming Food Systems in the Face of Climate Change.

On the sidelines of WCAS COP28 activities in Dubai, the President will meet with Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre in the Bilateral Room, DEC.

Meanwhile, in the evening, the Head of State is scheduled to attend the Zayed Sustainability Prize at Al Wasl Plaza. Afterwards, the President will attend a dinner hosted by PEA President Mohammed bin Zayed and Brazilian President Lula da Silva at Surreal Falls, Expo City Dubai.

In the series of WCAS COP28 activities, the President will be accompanied by the Minister of Environment and Forestry (LHK) Siti Nurbaya Bakar, Minister of State Secretary Pratikno, and Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Pahala Mansury. (BPMI SETPERS/AIT)
