Indonesia Showcases Premium Halal Products in Turkey
Thepresidentpost.id - Istanbul, Turkey - Indonesia has once again showcased its premium halal products at the world's largest international halal exhibition, the 10th Halal Expo 2023, organised by the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) in Istanbul, Turkey (23-16/11). The exhibition was attended by more than 300 exhibitors from 32 countries and is estimated to have 40 thousand visitors from various parts of the world.
This marked the third time Indonesia has participated in Halal Expo 2023, a result of collaboration between the Indonesian Embassy in Ankara, the Consulate General of the Republic of Indonesia in Istanbul, the Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs, and the Ministry of Industry of the Republic of Indonesia. The Indonesian exhibition features 11 participants, including 9 business entities, 1 centre for Muslim fashion training, and 1 halal research centre at a university. The Indonesian Pavilion showcased various products such as Muslim fashion, food, beverages, spices, medicines, herbal supplements, cosmetics, and even Indonesian-made Covid vaccines.
On the exhibition sidelines, a Business Forum was also held with participating companies and Turkish business associations, resulting in a total trade transaction commitment of IDR 10.4 billion with Indonesian exhibition participants.
